Firefox浏览器放弃支持XP及Vista系统

Mozilla近日官方宣布，Firefox 52将是最后一个支持Windows XP、Vista系统的版本，之后还会有安全更新，但不会有新功能。

目前，Firefox是仅存的官方支持XP、Vista系统的浏览器，而微软官方对XP的支持已经在2014年结束，Vista也将从2017年开始被放弃。

Mozilla表示，缺少支持的操作系统没有安全更新，通常带有已知漏洞，再使用是危险的，所以在这些操作系统上维护Firefox是非常困难的。

2017年3月份，XP/Vista Firefox用户将会被自动升级到扩展支持版本(ESR)，会继续得到重要的安全更新直至2017年9月，但是没有功能升级。

即便是Firefox企业用户，2017年9月也应当被考虑为最后的支持日期。

2017年中期，Mozilla会根据还在使用XP、Vista用户的数量，决定对Firefox最后的支持日期。
